MOT extension due to COVID-19 - not for everyone!

What do I do if my MOT was due before 29 March 2020?

Owners whose vehicles were due for a test before 29th March 2020 have not been exempted and will require a retest if they use their cars.

Motorists who are not self-isolating will need to book an MOT test if they are planning to use their vehicle for an essential service.

Essential journeys will be considered any for shopping or medicinal supplies or using a car to get to work if you are a key worker.
